Where does the cheetah live?
The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large feline that is native to various parts of Africa, particularly in the grasslands of eastern and southern Africa. They are typically found in open savannahs, dry forests, and scrublands, and can also be seen in some protected areas such as national parks and reserves. Cheetahs are also known to inhabit some parts of Iran. However, due to habitat loss and hunting, cheetah populations have declined significantly and are now considered a vulnerable species.
